Version

Which version of a program am I running?

For everything except Windows itself:

1. From the main menu:
   
2. Choose Help.
   
3. Choose About from the Help menu.
   
4. And there is the version information you need (WordPad 5.1, in this case).

Windows Version

1. Open Control Panel.
   
2. Open System.
   
3. Version shown: Microsoft Windows XP, Professional, 2002, Service Pack 1.
